[Volunteer] MANNAM, visits elderly home

On June 15, Saturday

MANNAM International friends visited elderly home together.
Mrs Seo (in her 103 years old) has bad eyesight, so MANNAM friends prepared a present, Radio, for her.
Actually, few weeks ago, on the day of The Peace Talk Concert, I asked MANNAM friends to donate for Mrs Seo. More than 8 people participated and up to 30,000won collected.
Thanks for those people who donated for the radio. Mrs Seo might be really happy with it!!

[MANNAM volunteer] Visiting elderly home with Shane Youman, Lotte pitcher

Twice in a month, MANNAM Busan North volunteers visit elderly home. Today, May 21, we visited Mrs Seo Kyung Ae (She is now 104 years old!!), had a fun and memorable time together. Today there was a special volunteer with us, let me introduce him!!

Shane Youman, a pitcher of Lotte Giants visited an elderly home with MANNAM volunteers!!

Although he has busy schedule for KBO league at the moment, he came for volunteering with us. Thank you very much Youman!!!

 Mrs Seo Kyung Ae got Youman's autograph for her grandson.

We also had lunch together, Youman introduced an awesome BudaeJJigae restaurant for us!!  

Shane Youman is an American professional baseball pitcher. In January 2012, he signed to pitch for the Lotte Giants of the Korea Professional Baseball League, he is one of the most popular baseball player in South Korea now.
Go, Lotte!! Fighting, 찜닭힘!!! ;)

[MANNAM Volunteer] visiting elderly home

2013 May 8, parents day!!

Do you know that May 8 is parents day in South Korea?
While most of parents who have son and daughter enjoy the day with lots of gifts and happiness, there are many elders who stay this day alone at their home with full of loneliness. That is why!! MANNAM volunteers visited elderly home this week!!
