베트남 등 6개국 참가 이색 외국인 축구대회 열려

Unique international soccer league 6 international teams including Vietnam 

국내에 거주하는 외국인 120여 명이 참가한 이색적인 축구대회가 부산에서 열렸다.

Unique international soccer tournament for international people who reside in Korea has opened, with participant of 120 people, in Busan. 

(사)만남 인터내셔널 부산 북부지부는 7일 사하구 하단동 을숙도 체육공원에서 제2회 빅토리컵 부산지역 예선전을 개최했다. 빅토리컵은 우리나라에 살고 있는 외국인 근로자나 유학생으로 이뤄진 축구팀이 승부를 겨루는 대회다. 올해 부산 예선에는 베트남과 네팔·인도네시아 등 6개국 120명이 참가했다.

MANNAM volunteer association's Busan North sector has opened 2nd Victory Cup tournament on April 7th in Hadan Eulsookdo soccer field. Victory cup is soccer teams ,which consists of foreign workers and students are competing. This year in Busan  tournament; Vietnam, Nepal, Indonesia and etc, 6 teams and 120 people has participated.

지난해 처음 열린 빅토리컵은 외국인들에게 스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 인종과 국적, 사상과 종교를 넘어 하나로 화합하자는 차원에서 마련됐다. 이날 개막을 시작으로 다음달 말 예선이 끝나면 2개팀이 오는 6월 경기도에서 열리는 본선에 참가한다.

Last year Victory cup has opened to promote understanding and acceptance through sports, so that we can go pass the boundaries of nation, colours and religion. Tournaments begins today and goes on until next month and two  advancing teams are to compete in June finals in Keungido. 

대회에 참가한 네팔 출신 라빈 라이(29) 씨는 "처음 한국에 왔을 땐 한국인들이 닦달만 하는 것 같았다. 그러나 동향 친구들과 축구를 하면서 심리적 안정감이 생기니 한국인에게 마음을 열고 다가갈 수 있어 생활도 한결 편해졌다"고 말했다.

One of the Nepal participant Rabin Rai(29) replied "When I first arrived in Korea everyone seems rushing me and aggravating, but playing soccer with my friends has relieved me of the tension so I could be more open to Korean people, therefor making my life in Korea much easier."  

김수경 만남 부산 북부지부 국장은 "대부분의 국내 거주 외국인들이 외로움 때문에 적응을 잘 못하고 있다"며 "빅토리컵처럼 교류의 장이 자주 마련되면 한국인과 외국인의 관계가 호전됨은 물론 세계인이 하나되는 계기가 될 것"이라고 말했다.

Mannam volunteer association's Busan North sector leader Soo Keyung Kim replied "Many of the international people, who are residing in Korea, are lonely and does not adapt well with Korean culture" and "When there is event, like Victory Cup, to participate, it is easier to interact with other culture and it would eventually bring world much closer to each other.
